What is PIPS? Photon Induced Photoacoustic Streaming. It is a revolutionary new method for chemically cleaning and disinfecting a root canal using Erbium:Yag laser energy in controlled power levels. PIPS root canals can be done in significantly less time and with less discomfort for the patient. Dr.Shiffman will be attending the Advanced Laser Endodontic training for PIPS at the Arizona Center for Laser Dentistry, which is the only organization for licensing and training in this procedure ,and can only be done with the Lares Laser. More information to follow.
