Our Advanced Technology Services
Here are some of the advanced technological services we offer:
Laser Dentistry
Laser dentistry is a process that involves using a laser light to perform procedures such as fillings, root canals, and gum treatments. Through the use of this advanced technology, we are able to complete treatments such that the patient experiences little or no swelling, bleeding, and pain.
The laser dentistry process works through the use of a tiny laser fiber. This fiber is roughly the size of a hair brush bristle. The dental professional places this fiber in the pocket located between the patient’s tooth and gum. In so doing, the dentist can eliminate diseased gum tissue and bad bacteria. This process leaves healthy tissue unharmed and clears the pocket for more cleaning. The second laser used will generate a photo-acoustic wave which breaks up calcium and tartar deposits. This tiny quartz rod with also detoxify the surface of the patient’s tooth roots.
Through the use of this advanced laser technology, our dental professionals are successful in eliminating dangerous bacteria and toxins while also sterilizing the tissue and bone. These actions precipitate the blood clotting process. When this process begins, the tissue will reattach to the bone and lost tissues will begin to grow back.
Gaining access to this advanced form of laser technology is important and advantageous for several reasons. First, the procedures promote oral hygiene by restoring diseased gums while also facilitating the growth of healthy tissue. Additionally, the laser procedure accomplishes these objectives without causing pain. The advanced technology is thus a step up from traditional methods that involve the use of sharp tools to cut the affected tissue away from the teeth.
Dental Implants
Another advanced technology service we offer is dental implants. In addition to replacing teeth, this procedure can be used to retain dentures and optimize jaw function. Our dental professionals utilize a 3D CAT scan to complete the dental implant process. By producing a 3D image of the patient’s jaw bones, we are oftentimes able to avoid the use of bone grafting.
Nightlase
Nightlase is a wonderful, technologically advanced procedure we perform to assist patients who struggle with snoring and sleep apnea. The treatment involves the use of a gentle laser light. The procedure is non-invasive and helps tighten the tissue such that the sound of snoring is decreased substantively. Patients will love attaining a quality night’s sleep without having to utilize awkward devices or undergo a treatment process that involves chemicals and anesthesia.
